Initial Appointment is for NEW Lymphedema patients or clients with chronic inflammation. The appointment will consist of filling out documents, setting treatment goals and measurements if applicable. Hands-on massage/MLD Manual Lymphatic Drainage vary in time and will not be the full 60 minutes. Please note:  bandages are not supplied as part of the appointment, if needed, will accur additional charges. 
Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) is the most successful treatment for chronic extremity lymphedema. Post mastectomy lymphedema and other related conditions respond extremely well to this gentle, non-invasive, and highly effective therapy.  
CDT consists of the following four steps:
1. Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD)
2. Compression Therapy
3. Exercises
4. Skin Care

Initial Assessment with Treatment / Lymphedema

30 Minutes - Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) or Swelling/Inflammation (Lymphedema) 
MLD is a gentle treatment used to reroute the lymph flow around blocked areas into healthy lymph vessels, which drain into the venous circulation.
This appointment length would be suitable for a single area to be addressed, either for lymphatic drainage or bandaging session. Time constraints do not allow for both. Please note that bandages are not supplied as part of the appointment, and if needed, will incur additional charges.

30 Minutes Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) / Lymphedema

60 minute - This appointment would be suitable for a full Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) treatment and/or Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) with bandaging. 
MLD is a gentle treatment used to reroute the lymph flow around blocked areas into healthy lymph vessels, which drain into the venous circulation.
This would also be an appropriate appointment length for a larger post-op area. Please note that bandages are not supplied as part of the appointment, and if needed, will incur additional charges.

60 Minutes Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) / Lymphedema

This session can be combined with Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) session or on it's own. Please note that bandages are not supplied as part of the appointment, and if needed, will incur additional charges.

Bandaging

Post Surgical Treatment: Cancer Rehab or Pre and Post Op Therapy 
Pre and Post Breast Surgery; Cording Release-Axillary Web Syndrome (AWS); Scar Management; Increase Shoulder Mobility; Reduce Inflammation; Reduce Radiation Fibrosis or Pain Management

This appointment length would be suitable for a single area to be addressed. Please note that bandages are not supplied as part of the appointment, and if needed, will incur additional charges.

30 minutes - Post Surgical Treatment

Post Surgical Treatment: Cancer Rehab or Pre and Post Op Therapy

60 Minutes - Post Surgical Treatment

Before signing your ADP form, for compression garments for Lymphedema, your therapist will perform a thorough assessment to identify the exact type of device you need and confirm your eligibility for ADP funding assistance for you.
